Welcome to KidsShield. By downloading, installing, or using our mobile application and services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the application.

1. Permitted Use & Parental Consent

KidsShield is designed exclusively for child safety and family location awareness. By creating a parent account, you certify that you are the parent or legal guardian of the child whose device is paired to your account. You agree not to use KidsShield for unlawful surveillance or any purpose violating local privacy laws.

2. Emergency Services Disclaimer

KidsShield is a supplementary personal safety tool and is not a replacement for official local emergency services (such as 911, 112, or 999). In life-threatening situations, always contact local emergency dispatchers immediately.

3. Subscriptions and In-App Purchases

KidsShield offers optional auto-renewable subscriptions to unlock additional features (such as multiple child devices and extended video evidence storage). Subscriptions are billed through Apple In-App Purchase and Google Play Billing, and auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period in your device account settings.

4. Data Retention and Privacy

We respect your family's privacy. Temporary SOS video evidence is automatically deleted within 24 hours, and location histories are deleted after 72 hours (3 days). For full details on our data protection practices, please review our Privacy Policy.

5. Account Termination

You may terminate your account and delete all associated data at any time directly through the app settings under Account > Delete Account.
