To provide our core parental control and safety features, KidsShield collects the following data with explicit parental consent:

• Location Data: Real-time GPS location and background location for SOS features and tracking.
• Device Information: Basic device identifiers required for account pairing and notifications.
• Media and Audio: The SOS feature may record audio and video during an emergency when explicitly triggered by the child.
• Account Data: Email address and your account profile name. We do not collect separate "child" names.

2. How We Use the Information

Data is exclusively used to provide safety services to the parent. We do not sell, rent, or share personal data with third-party advertisers or data brokers.

3. Data Security and Deletion

All transmitted data is encrypted using industry-standard protocols. We do not store historical location trackers. Parents have full control and can permanently delete their account and all associated data directly from the "Account" section in the app settings at any time.

4. Device Permissions

KidsShield requires standard Android/iOS permissions (Location, Camera, and Microphone) to provide SOS features. We do not use invasive Device Administrator or Accessibility Services to lock the device or block other apps.
